In recent years, Novatek has been increasingly applying this expertise to new categories and technology fields. The Video Display product line has been one of the most successful endeavors.

Novatek offers a comprehensive suite of System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for video display applications, all equipped with Novatek's expertise in mix-mode design, color management, image processing and video processing, which includes video capture, video color processing, compression/decompression and video signal output, with the aim of meeting the most sophisticated requirements and quality for video display applications.


Our current product line consists of the following items:

TFT Timing Controller:

• Supports a wide variety of panels at different resolutions for Notebook, monitor and TV applications

• Includes LVDS Rx, Timing Control Unit, dithering, color engine, data compression OD function and high frequency RSDS/mini_LVDS Tx for the full line of products.

• Supports ASIC and standard T-Con.
  

Monitor Controller:

• A selection of various flash RAM sizes is available for MCU products.
• All essential circuits for monitor applications are implemented within the scaler
  chip, such as ADC/PLL, TMDS Rx, scaler, and LVDS Tx, which can be used
  on models from XGA to WUXGA

• The MCU comes with flash RAM-based and Mask ROM-based.
• The OSD chip contains a built-in pre-amplifier.

TV Product Line:

• The TV controller features ADC/PLL, TMDS Rx, de-interlace, and a Video decoder.
• The TV controller supports a great variety of applications, ranging from
  mainstream models to high-end models.
